The template will be seamlessly loaded into your Squarespace account as a brand new site, and you'll get a 3-month free trial to give you plenty of time to perfect it before upgrading to a Squarespace subscription.

Our templates are designed with the native Squarespace interface, making them simple to edit and fully customizable, just like any other Squarespace site!

Your Squarespace template includes a 3-month free trial, giving you ample time to work on and refine your website!

When you're ready to launch your site or when the trial period ends (whichever comes first), you’ll need to choose a Squarespace subscription to keep your website live.

The perfect Squarespace plan for your small business will depend on the features you want for your site. For example, if you're looking to add a simple shop, a Business plan will be sufficient. If you already have a Squarespace website with a subscription and decide to move your site to your new template, please note that you'll need to purchase a new subscription for your new template website, as the two websites are separate and Squarespace subscriptions can't be transferred between them.
Additionally, you’ll need to purchase a domain (your website's URL) to link to your site. Domain prices usually range from €10 to €40 per year.

You can have multiple websites within your Squarespace account, so if you already have an existing website and purchase a new website template, you will end up with two separate websites in your Squarespace account dashboard.

These websites will be completely independent of each other. You’ll need to transfer any content from your old site to the new template manually. If you have a large number of blog posts, we can assist you with transferring them through our extra support service, just reach out to us here for help.

Additionally, you’ll need to move your domain to your new website and purchase a new Squarespace subscription for the template. If there’s any remaining time on your current website’s subscription, we recommend contacting Squarespace support. They are typically happy to offer a prorated refund when you’re moving to a new website.

Absolutely! With our Squarespace 7.1 Fluid Engine templates, there’s a separate mobile editor, giving you full control to design a unique mobile version for your site. Almost every aspect of your mobile site can be customized independently from the desktop version.

To preview a template’s mobile version, simply view the demo site on your mobile device (you’ll find the "View Demo" button on the top of each template page)!

If you're moving from another website, it's normal to see a temporary drop in SEO. Any website redesign will affect SEO to some degree.

As long as you follow our SEO tips, particularly ensuring your URLs stay the same to avoid broken links, your site’s SEO will recover and improve within a couple of months!

All of our Squarespace website templates are designed with the DIY user in mind, and we provide you with plenty of guides and video tutorials on how to use Squarespace and easily customize your website template. We do our best to ensure you won’t need our help at all!

However, if you do get stuck, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us! The 6 months of free support that comes with your template is usually enough to help you get unstuck.

While we don’t currently offer a full website template customization service, we can provide specific customizations through our extra support service or offer full custom website design!
